RRB Employees Plan One-Day Strike on June 30

Employees of the Regional Rural Bank (RRB) have decided to observed a one-day strike on June 30 all across the country and raise the demand for equality in promotion procedures and pensions disbursed with the employees of nationalized bank, i.e. their promotor.
RRB employees are also against the formation of state-level RRBs and privatization.
According to the All India Regional Rural Bank Employees Association, the majority of the RRB employees, which are 90,000+ in count, are going to observe the strike.
