Filippo Gori who is the head of markets and investor services at JPMorgan Asia Pacific recently shared his opinions on the trade war. He said that it’s a lose-lose situation for both countries and the war may create problems for the emerging markets (EMs) although it’s not possible to say for sure at this point. On the subject of Indian currency, he said that the INR will stay around 72/US Dollar till June 2019 although the economic fundamentals of the country are strong.
