SAARC Development Fund to Join Hands with Top Financing Firms

In a bid to venture into infrastructure projects, Funding Institution SAARC Development Fund (SDF) is planning to ink a pact with two top financial companies in multilateral development financing.

SDF is conducting a 2-day meeting in New Delhi in which it will consider partnering with Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and New Development Bank (NDB). However, it’s also considering other sovereign development creditors and multilateral groups that can be its co-financing options.
