SBI Doubles Net Profits in Q4
  • The net profits of SBI have increased more than two-fold to Rs. 2,815 crore in the March 2017 quarter
  • The provisions have lowered by 11% to 11,740 on year-on-year basis
  • SBI has also reported improved asset quality with its gross NPAs dropping by 33BPS
  • The NPA ratio has declined by 53 bps on quarter-to-quarter basis
  • The net interest income, which is the difference between the interest earned and the interest expended, has grown 17.34% to Rs 18,071 crore on a year-on-year basis
  • SBI would be reporting consolidating results from April 1, which is after the merger
