SBI Rolls Out GST-Ready Solutions

To extend support towards the GST regime, public lender State Bank of India has introduced a slew of GST-ready solutions including online payments through debit card and internet banking. Now, SBI customers can also pay GST up to Rs. 10,000 through cheque, cash, etc. at any of the SBI branches across the country.
GST is a radical taxation system which was introduced in several other countries such as Brazil, Canada, etc. long before India. However, the principal behind it is the same- unified and uniform taxation all across the country. In India, GST is expected to give an impetus to the economy and make doing business easier.
