SBI to launch OTP based ATM withdrawals from January 2020

Due to the ATM-related fraudulent activities on the rise, SBI has taken a step to introduce OTP-based ATM withdrawals from the start of the January month.
This new effect was transmitted to the customers through a tweet by the SBI bank.
If the SBI customer plans to take out cash from an ATM, now it has to have a phone along and the timings for OTP based transactions will be from 8 pm to 8 am.
It is quite obvious that the ATM-based OTP password will only applicable for SBI and not other bank ATMs.
