SCDCC Bank to launch net banking
The South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank will soon introduce internet banking for its customers, said bank chairman MN Rajendra Kumar. 

On Monday, he said that the bank has plans to implement Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) for its customers. Further, the bank will also introduce Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) for the convenience of its customers to pay bills of electricity, water supply, DTH recharge and other payments, he said. 

The bank has introduced a tab banking for the convenience of customers, who may carry out transactions at home or office. The mobile app of the bank allows transfer of funds by customer holding accounts within its branches, he said adding that internet banking license is yet to be provided by the RBI. 

“The SCDCC Bank with 111 branches in urban and rural areas have earned a profit of 61.3 crore in 2022-23, registering a growth of 21.5% compared to the previous financial year. The bank has also registered record business transactions to the tune of ₹13,512 crore, 16.4% increase compared to the previous year. The bank has a goal to achieve ₹15,000 crore business turnover in the next financial year,” he said.SCDCC Bank to launch net banking
