Seasoned Banker HN Sinor Resigns from BBB

HN Sinor, who is considered as one of the most influential and experienced bankers of India, has resigned from the Banks Board Bureau, as reported by sources. However, Sinor himself hasn’t made any official announcement yet.

This is not the only major change in the administration in the recent times. Last week, MelwynRegowas transferred to Syndicate Bank and Usha Ananthasubramanian to Allahabad Bank.

The Banks Board Bureau (BBB) was established in April 2016 by the former auditor and comptroller Vinod Rai with an aim of appointing executives and directing the standards of govt. banks. The bureau was instrumental in recommending top-level appointments at state Banks.
