Shamika Ravi to Become a Member of PM’s Economic Panel

Shamika Ravi, who is a senior fellow member of Brookings India, will be appointed as a member of Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) on a part-time basis.
Other than Ravi, the EAC-PM, which is headed by Niti Aayog member Bibek Debroy, also includes Ashima Goyal, Rathin Roy, and Surjit Bhalla as part-time members.
Ravi is currently the head of the development economics research segment at Brookings India, as well as a visiting professor of economics at the Indian School of Business (ISB).
