Shoppers Stop partners Accenture for digital transformation

Shoppers Stop has partnered with Accenture to accelerate its digital commerce transformation across various retail channels, the company said in a media release.

Venu Nair, MD, and CEO, Shoppers Stop said, “Omnichannel commerce has been a large focus area for us as we seek to meet and exceed our customer’s evolving needs and wants.

We are aiming to achieve significant profitable growth in digital commerce revenues over the next few years”.With Accenture’s help, the company said it is strengthening its platform with real-time information and analytics across the value chain from client experience to supply chain through to sales and last time delivery.

Sameer Amte, MD at Accenture, who leads its retail practice in India said, “The retail sector needs to frequently reset so it can stay relevant for the changing buyer expectation, and create experiences that engage and delight.

This digital transformation program will help shoppers stop respond to emerging customer needs & new opportunities in the market”.

Shoppers Stop said, it has been transitioning from being a local to an omnichannel retailer and providing a shopping experience through WhatsApp, it’s app & website.
