State-owned banks have become important for investors

- “Many state-owned bank shares are either trading near their one-year high or hitting a fresh one,” said Sanjiv Bhasin, executive VP (market & corporate affairs) IIFL. “Bad days for those select government-backed banks could well be over amid government’s efforts to resolve large default cases.” Investors can expect at least a 12-15% CAGR return from select public sector banking stocks over the next three years, dealers said.
