TCS extends partnership with SBI for tech solutions
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Wednesday announced that its association with India’s biggest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has been reached out for an additional five years to drive development and tech solutions.

As a part of the new contract, TCS will proceed to keep up with and improve SBI’s application domain around core banking, trade finance, financial reporting, and financial inclusion with new features and functionality. This will uphold the bank’s capacity to launch more up-to-date contributions and react to business and regulatory changes, TCS educated in an exchange filing day.

“The extended partnership expands on twenty years in the long relationship between the two partners, that started with the execution of the TCS BaNCS core banking solution in 2001, the biggest such transformational program of that era,” it said.
Furthermore, TCS will assist SBI with huge change programs. In the latest such commitment, TCS is helping fabricate Bharat Craft an omnichannel, online B2B e-commerce platform that would fill in as a marketplace for MSMEs, together determined by SBI and the Government of India, the IT giant said in a statement.
