Though Economy Grows, It's Not Creating Jobs: Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya

Realizing that the economy growth is not resulting in more jobs, Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has created a special task force to gather employment numbers for the past three years.
Dattatreya told the reporters that the current growth is a “jobless growth”. He cited examples of other countries in Asia and Europe and said that the same pattern can be identified there, where growth is there, but jobs are not.
According to Dattatreya, the current education system is focused on theory too much. For instance, in engineering, only 20% of the course requires an apractical application and the remaining 80% is just theory.
