TRAI to improve speed and reliability of broadband connectivity

The telecom regulator is thinking about beginning an industry-wide conversation on improving speed and reliability of broadband availability just as reinforcing the advanced framework in the midst of developing remote work culture in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) director RS Sharma told ET, “The authority is thinking about starting a counsel on approaches to speed up and solid broadband network in the nation” including that back-end advanced foundation creation is another territory of need for the regulator.

Subsequent to the across the country lockdown, the ‘remain at home’ and ‘work from home’ prerequisites have required the change of numerous homes into remote workplaces, virtual conference rooms, online schools for kids and, now and again, video spilling center points for the diversion of the family.
