Unemployment Claims False, Created 3.79 Lakh New Jobs: Center

Rejecting the news of jobless growth that’s been floating around social media and traditional media for many days now, the government said that it created 3.79 lakh new jobs between 2017 and 2019.
According to the interim Budget 2019, around 2,51,279 jobs in central government were created during between 2017 and 2018. The figure is projected to cross 36,15,770 by March 1, 2019. It said that most of these jobs were generated in Indian Railways, Income Tax Department, and Police Forces.
