UP Govt Counting on MSME Scheme to Tackle Unemployment
With the general elections nearing and opposition parties firing shots at the NDA government over the problem of unemployment across the country, the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government is hoping to improve the situation with the help of “One District, One Product” (ODOP) scheme.

The ODOP scheme was launched by UP CM Yogi Adityanath in January last year with an aim of boosting the MSME sector. Under this, the government joined hands with ecommerce giant Amazon to sell its khadi products on its website and also train artisans across the state.
