UP Govt Starts 10-Day Trial Run of Ayushman Bharat
The Uttar Pradesh government has started the trial run of the ambitious health insurance scheme i.e. Ayushman Bharat across all districts. State health minister Sidharth Nath Singh initiated it from Balrampur hospital on Tuesday. 

The scheme which aims to provide affordable health insurance to the underprivileged is set to be launched officially on September 25 across the nation. However, UP has started its own trials to test the facility and will continue them till September 13.  

To manage the claims of the beneficiaries, the State Agency for Comprehensive Health and Integrated Services (SACHIS) has been designated as a Trust. A 13-member committee has also been set up to monitor the process.
