Vibrant Gujarat Summit: Over 28,000 Pacts Signed, Says CM Vijay Rupani

Around 28,360 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019, state Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said.
Rupani was speaking at the final session of the Gujarat Global Summit 2019 when he said that the signed MoUs will generate 21 lakh jobs. He said that it was the decision of the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi in 2003 to organize Vibrant Gujarat Summit every 2 years to ensure that the state became a preferred investment destination. Before that, a few businesses participated in the first summit, he said.
