WhatsApp Leaks: Axis Bank Gives Clean Chit to Officials

Private sector Axis Bank has denied the leakage of any sensitive information on the popular messaging app WhatsApp by its employees, which it was alleged of earlier.

The lender has submitted a report to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) in which it said that there was no such leakage of information by the bank itself. It also mentioned that it would bolster the internal mechanisms for managing the price sensitive data.

Axix Bank’s June-quarter financial details were allegedly found circulating on WhatsApp, as a result of which Sebi asked it to conduct an internal enquiry.
