Wipro acquires Brazil based specialized IT service provider

Wipro said it might acquire IVIA Serviços, a specialized IT Services provider to financial services, retail and production sectors in Brazil, for approx $ 23 million.

The Bengaluru-headquartered software offerings exporter said this acquisition would assist in putting in delivery centres within the North East of Brazil leveraging IVIA’s team of workers.

Wipro has a strong presence in Latin America with places of work across five international locations within the area like Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica.

IVIA, is privately held and has a team of workers of around 722 employees as of December 2019, presents IT solutions along with gadget improvement, protection, consulting and project management administration. The company’s revenue stood at $ 13.5 million at the end last year.
