Wipro invests $1.2mn in Squadcast

IT benefits firm Wipro Ltd. has put $1.2 million in Squadcast, as a feature of a business association with the software as-a-services (SaaS) startup to give IT incident response and site reliability engineering services.

Wipro will procure an essential minor stake of under 20% in Squadcast, as indicated by a regulatory filing on Wednesday. The deal is relied upon to conclude before June 30.

Established by Amiya Adwitiya and Sisir Koppaka in 2017, Squadcast offers benefits that assist endeavors with guaranteeing that their IT services are consistently ready for action. The organization was joined in Delaware in 2018 and has workplaces in Bengaluru and Palo Alto. It considers organizations such Udaan, SonyLiv, Carnegie Mellon University, Ninjacart and Coinbase as clients. It says its answer improves IT occurrence recuperation times by 4X.

Squadcast has recently raised $2.1 million from investors like Nexus Venture Partners and Chiratae Ventures.
