World Bank donates $1 billion for India to fight the pandemic

World Bank has approved to donate $1 billion for India to fight the outbreak of corona virus. The donation will be managed by government authorities and it will be used for the welfare of all states in the country.

The fund will be used for the patients affected by the coronavirus and the frontline healthcare workers, procurement of testing kits, setting up isolation wards and purchase of personal protective equipment.

World Bank said, “The fund will help India to fight the spread of coronavirus and reducing its transmission all over the country”.
