YES Bank, Indus OS Join Hands to Launch OS-Integrated UPI System

Indus OS, which is an Android-based operating system for the Indian handsets has announced a partnership with private sector YES Bank to roll out an OS-integrated UPI payment platform. It will be accessible by the users through third-party apps, SMS, etc.

CEO and co-founder of Indus OS, Rakesh Deshmukh said that empowering the OS with support for the “Digital India” initiatives is one of the key areas of focus for the company this year.

Indus OS is also planning to link the platform with an Aadhaar authentication system for enhanced security.
