I come across many parents on daily basis who believe that getting a prestigious MBA Degree Guarantees a Good Job and a Successful Career. They can’t be more wrong!
Let’s compare your first job to travelling abroad. A Passport and Visa, you can’t go out without either.
Your Degree from a Globally Recognized B-School, is your Passport which will get you interviews from the top brands you aspire for. But your Skill set to crack the interview is your Visa. As there is no short cut to get an authentic Passport and Visa, there are no short cuts for getting a global degree and the required skill set.
So, while choosing a B-School you must concentrate on the validity of the Degree in terms of Global Acceptance and accertain whether the Institute provides the student, enough right pedagogy (learning methodology) and industry exposure to create and enhance the required Skill Set in terms of Critical Thinking, Domain Knowledge and most importantly Holistic Communication.
This should assure you the first step in the right direction to a successful and sustainable career. Please remember there is no destination before journey.
