₹24 cr to 2 Companies Given by Walmart Bring Technology to Indian Farmers

This Tuesday, a grant of 4.8 million USD (₹34 crores) was announced by Walmart Foundation to two companies to bring technological advancements to the agriculture sector in India. This move is in line with the retail giant’s commitment to improving the livelihood of farmers in the country.
Walmart said that the grants were given to TechnoServe, a non-profit company working in India’s farming sector, and Digital Green, which is an international development company that brings tech tools to farmers in Ethiopia and India.
