₹500 bn Worth of Infra Projects to be Launched in UP

Massive infrastructure and industrial projects to the tune of ₹500 billion are set to be launched in Uttar Pradesh next month. These are a part of the various Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) worth ₹4.68 trillion that were signed by the State Government with several private and public sector companies during the UP Investors Summit in February this year.
Sources said that the UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath is displeased with the slow pace of the projects. However, as general elections are nearing, it’s only natural that he will soon take charge and push for a speedy launch and execution of the projects.
