All 14 Types of Rs. 10 Coin Valid, Says RBI

In light of the growing reluctance to accept Rs. 10 coins by traders as well as individuals in certain parts of the country on the suspicion of their genuineness, the Reserve Bank of India cleared the air by saying that all 14 designs of Rs. 10 coins are valid and legal tender for transactions.
The central bank said that all the coins minted by the government mints are put into the circulation by it, and so far it has issued Rs. 10 coins in 14 designs.
