2.3 bn Misleading Ads Banned by Google in 2018
In an effort to protect Internet users from misleading ads, tech giant Google took down as many as 2.3 billion misleading ads in 2018 that failed to follow its advertising policies.

The company took to its blog to shed light on its measures towards advertisement management. It said that it takes the responsibility to create a “healthy and sustainable advertising ecosystem” and has been investing a lot of technological resources to protect the users, advertisers, and publishers.

The details of Google’s measures were discussed in the “Bad Ads Report” including the termination of around 734,000 publishers from its ad network and 1.5 million apps.
