5 Lakh Jobs up for Grabs in Tech and Startup Industry in 2019, Says Mohandas Pai

Former CFO of Infosys Ltd. V Mohandas Pai said that the startup and IT industry is expected to hire as many as 5 lakh people in 2019 in light of the growing demand for fresh graduates. He said that entry-level packages increased by 20% in 2018 which otherwise stayed at the same level for the past 7 years.
Pai said that growth is coming back to the IT industry in India and that Hyderabad is a top destination for the same.
