58,200 Jobs to be Generated by Engineering, Manufacturing in H1FY20

According to a report by recruitment firm TeamLease Services, engineering and manufacturing sectors are expected to add up to 58,200 jobs during the first half of the financial year 2019-20.

The “Employment Outlook Report” said that the two industries will observe a 2% growth in employment generation. It also said that the highest number of jobs will be generated in Pune, followed by Mumbai that may generate up to 8,940 jobs.

The report was generated on the basis of 19 sectors. It said that 11 of these projects a positive outlook in terms of employment generation while the remaining 8 sectors show a negative outlook.
