66% Beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Availed Treatment in Private Hospitals
Deputy Chief Executive of National Health Agency (NHA) Dinesh Arora said that around 66% of individuals covered under the national healthcare scheme Ayushman Bharat availed treatment in private hospitals. The majority of these are based in West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, he said.

Arora also added that out of 3,65,394 beneficiaries, 204,000 received treatments in private hospitals. He said that the government has settled claims to the tune of ₹3.12 billion so far.
