99,000 People Received Training in Artificial Intelligence from Intel India

Top chipset manufacturer Intel said that it has trained close to 99,000 developers, students and professors in India in Artificial Intelligence since April 2017. However, the target was only 15,000 for the first year of the programme.
Intel India had joined hands with some of the top institutes in India to offer training under its AI developer education. These include IITs in Mumbai, Kanpur, Delhi, Kharagpur, Chennai, as well as IIITs in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, etc.
At present, nearly 97% of the data centre servers that run AI workloads are powered by Intel.
