Aadhaar Seeding Deadline of March 31 Could be Extended Further

The current deadline for linking of Aadhaar with various services and welfare schemes including mobile numbers and bank accounts, which is March 31, can be extended, the Centre recently told the Supreme Court.
Citing the reason that some additional time may be needed to conclude hearing in the Aadhaar case, the Centre said that government may postpone the deadline.
