Amazon to Venture into Offline Retail

World’s biggest eCommerce company Amazon, which already has a great presence in India, is now looking to try its luck in the offline retail industry. It wants to compete against Flipkart and Reliance which are also planning to take similar steps towards the brick-and-mortar retail space in the country.

Amazon said that it’s already started talking to three top retail chains which include Shoppers Stop and Future Group to have them sell all kinds of products. It will start with its private label products only, and then more towards other top-selling products.
