Anshula Kant Appointed CFO and MD of World Bank

Anshula Kant, who is the managing director of the State Bank of India (RBI) has been appointed as the chief financial officer (CFO) and managing director (MD) of the World Bank. Under the new role, she will be delegated the tasks of risk and financial management of the World Bank.
World Bank president David Malpass said that he is pleased with the appointment of Kant and that they bring 35+ years of experience in banking, finance, and new ways of using technologies with her work in SBI.
Kant managed 38 billion USD worth of revenues and 500 billion USD worth of assets as the CFO of the SBI, the World Bank said.
