Auto dealers to launch Online sales platform

Automakers have announced a massive shift to digital dealerships to woo customers to fight their manner up from nil income last month but a fight over data has seen a section of sellers launch their own dedicated online sales platform.

Dealerships which opened during the nationwide lockdown, have announced their digital platform for the online sales. The large dealers connected to brands will launch their own digital sales platform.

Som Kapoor partner at EY said, “Dealers which are connected with the businesses and brands will control their customer relationship on their own. They will try to pass switch from CRM, that’s in the main a pre-sales device to a ‘consumer lifetime value’ model”.
