Unemployment rate dips to 23.7% in last week

Centre for monitoring economy said in 27 million youngsters lost their job in last month, following nationwide lockdown due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
According to the CMIE report, the employment rate saw a decline of 3% for last week whereas the employment rate of labourers have increased as the government has opened the industries.
The decline in metropolitan cities jobless rate is lowest with factories still struggling to recuperate to operate again during the labour shortage in the country due to the lockdown.
