Bank of India Empowers Women with the Launch of Nari Shakti Savings Account

In a move to empower women financially, Bank of India has unveiled the Nari Shakti Savings Account (NSSA) catering to women aged 18 and above with an independent source of income. The NSSA comes with a robust Personal Accident Insurance cover of up to Rs. 100 lakhs, ensuring account holders have financial security.

Account holders can further benefit from discounted Health Insurance & Wellness products and enjoy exclusive rebates on locker facilities for Gold & Diamond savings accounts, with Platinum account holders receiving these facilities for free.

Moreover, the NSSA provides a concessional rate of interest on Retail Loans, complimentary issuance of Credit Cards, and a higher usage limit of up to Rs. 5.00 lakh on Point of Sale (POS) transactions.

For every new Nari Shakti Account opened, Bank of India will contribute Rs. 10/- towards the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund. This fund is dedicated to the socio-economic development of underprivileged women and the girl child.

The Nari Shakti Savings Account is easily accessible through all 5132 domestic branches and digital platforms, ensuring convenience for prospective account holders. This initiative reaffirms Bank of India’s commitment to fostering economic empowerment for women and actively contributing to the social development of marginalized women and girls.
