Bilateral Trade of India, Russia to be Increased to 30 bn USD by 2025

This Wednesday, India, and Russia decided to strengthen their ties in the areas of investments and industrial cooperation by targeting bilateral trade of 30 billion USD by 2025.

A joint statement that was issued by the Russian and Indian government after the 29th India-Russia Annual Summit, PM Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin agreed that they will continue to promote mutual settlements of payments in national currencies.

The bilateral merchandise trade between India and Russia stood at 8.2 billion USD during 2018-19.
