Budget 2018: FinMin Introduces New Measures for MSMEs

Although the business stakeholders are divided on the Budget 2018, the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can look forward to a few welcoming changes that were announced by the finance minister Arun Jaitley.

Jaitley said that a series of measures have been taken for the benefit of MSMEs including the slashing of the corporate tax rate from 30% to 25% for businesses with annual turnover less than 250 crores, setting a lending target of Rs. 3 lakh crores under the MUDRA scheme, etc.
