Create a Foolproof e-way Bill System: FinMin to GSTN

Considering how the e-way bill launch failed badly on the very first day of implementation, the finance ministry has asked the Goods and Service Tax Network to provide a detailed report on the technical glitches that led to such a disaster.
Finance Secretary Hasmukh Adhia said that the GSTN has been asked to ensure system readiness before they re-introduce the bill for the traders and goods transporters.
Adhia said the government is not going to turn its back on the e-way bill for sure, and it will be implemented in a few weeks.
