Canara Bank internet banking customers can generate offline OTP

Canara Bank customers can generate offline OTP facility and OTP over the call facilty for all internet banking customers, according to the Canara Bank website. This OTP can be used for financial transactions, stated the Canara Bank website.
Login to your Internet Banking, Go to Pay & Transfer tab, and click on the ‘OFFLINE OTP’ section. Alternatively, the OFFLINE OTP option can be searched in Internet Banking Search Menu Option.
16 digit dynamic activation code, account expiry date, registration ID will be displayed. Download Canara Bank OTP app.
Same 16 digit code will appear, just click submit. Open Canara Bank OTP app, enter registration ID click submit. An encrupted SMS will be sent from bank registered mobile number. SMS gets validated, user need to create 5 digit passcode and press Activate tab.
According to the Canara Bank website, “Customer ID is unique identification number provided by the Bank to identify a particular customer. Internet Banking User ID is provided by the Bank to the Customer for accessing Internet Banking Application. In some cases both Customer ID and Internet Banking User ID can be same. In case of any doubt use Forgot User id option.”
