Centre Seeks Help From ICAI, IIFT to Improve India’s Ranking in “Doing Business”

In a bid to improve India’s ranking in the Doing Business index of the World Bank, the government has brought in four institutes, i.e., Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) for help.

India’s ranking on the latest index made a huge improvement of 30 places by making it to the 100th spot. However, the government wants to enter the top- 50 group.
