Changes in ITR Filing This Year
May 03, 2019
The time has begun to file income tax returns (ITR) for the financial year 2018-19. Although the last date for submission is July 31, 2019, it helps to learn the new changes in the system and submit it earlier. The following are a few changes that you need to know:
- Now salaried individuals are asked to disclose additional details of their incomes viz. break-up of allowances
- You have to mention Section 80 deductions separately
- You can’t file if you held unlisted equity shared during FY19
