E-Way Bill to Make Movement of Goods Easy: GSTN

After the e-way bill is launched on February 1 under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime, transporters will be able to move goods from one state to another without having to carry multiple transit passes. This is because the new bill will be valid all across the nation, GST Network CEO Prakash Kumar said.
With effect from February 1, the interstate movement of goods of value Rs. 50,000 or above and along a transit distance of 10 km or above will require an e-way bill.
