Edtech sector witnessed demand for digital skills

Edtech sector has seen a 90 percent surge for digital skills amid the pandemic, as per TeamLease Edtech.

The demand for digital skills for the EdTech area is set to increment to further 65% to 75 percent in the coming quarters.

The shift in skills requirements comes in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic for the training and the edtech sector. In the last quarter, the interest for advanced skills has gone up fundamentally.

Further, the demand for analytical skills has increased by 45% and is probably going to additional expansion by 40% and the interest for ability with innovative mindset has increased by 65% and would keep on increasing by 55%.

Neeti Sharma, Co-Founder and President of TeamLease Edtech said that the quick digital adoption and transformation has increased the necessities for employees with digital skills.

“There has been a setback at first, anyway many employers made investments in upskilling their workers and the utilized students themselves took up programs that pre-arranged them for these skills. This has anabled many employees to match the demand and supply of digital skills,” the Co-Founder said.
