Facebook to Offer Millions to News Publishers for Content

Facebook is looking to introduce a news tab on the platform and may offer as much as 3 million USD for the rights of the content. According to sources, it’s already in talks with some of the major publishers across the globe.
A CNBC report said that a dedicated news tab will soon be incorporated in the Facebook website to provide a better news experience to the users. The company has also talked to outlets like The Washington Post, ABC News, etc. to obtain a license for the content for 3 million USD, it said.
