Facebook Tracking Users Even if Their Smartphones Don’t Have the App
For quite some time, Facebook has been surrounded with controversies regarding piracy violation and questionable usage of users’ data. However, a new study was published recently that sheds light on a few other points that raise serious concerns.

A study by the UK-based charity Privacy International says that Facebook tracks its users even when their Android phones don’t have the app installed. It even tracks users who log out of their Facebook accounts. This is made possible with the Facebook Software Development Kit (SDK) that other app developers use including Indeed and Skyscanner. Interestingly, both of them, along with many others, were found to be sharing data with the social media giant.
