Soon Companies, CAs May Need to Provide KYC Details

To identify and remove unethical entities from the corporate sector, the government is planning to collect the KYC details of companies, cost accountants, chartered accountants (CAs), and company secretaries. The government had implemented a similar measure last year when it obtained the KYC details of the companies’ directors to identify individuals who were involved in the illicit movement of funds.
