Finance Minister launches PSU banks doorstep service

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the doorstep banking services of state-run banks, which is relied upon to profit an enormous number of clients of these elements, including senior residents and people with inabilities.

Doorstep banking services is pointed toward giving accommodation of banking administrations to the clients through the universal touch points of a call centre, online interface or portable application. Clients can likewise follow their administration demand through these channels.

The services will be delivered by the doorstep banking agents deployed by chose specialist organizations at 100 focuses the nation over, the finance ministry said. At present just non-financial administrations, for example, getting of checks, request draft, pay request are accessible to clients. Money related administrations will be made accessible from October. The services can be availed by clients of open area banks at nominal charge
